"$The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées is stunning, unfurling in the glass with sweet fruit tones of cherries and raspberries that mingle with fragrant top-notes of violet and blood orange, complemented by more savory nuances of espresso and grilled squab. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with an incredibly deep, concentrated core of fruit that verges on unctuous yet remains elegantly weightless, concluding with a long, floral and mouthwateringly saline finish. The Château de Chambolle-Musigny in the Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier has been in the Mugnier family since 1863.

From 2004 he has taken back the Nuits St Georges Clos de la Maréchale vineyard, on lease to Faiveley since 1950. 

The Domaine is the second largest owner of le Musigny.
