Barolo Aleste by Luciano Sandrone comes from meticulously selected vineyard parcels located in La Morra, at the heart of Piedmont. The Nebbiolo vines thrive on limestone-rich marl soils, bringing aromatic finesse, structure and depth. The outstanding 2016 vintage is renowned for its perfect balance between ripeness and freshness. The magnum format allows for slower, more harmonious aging, enhancing complexity and longevity.

Tasting Notes

Color & Nose:
Deep garnet color with ruby highlights. The nose is refined and expressive, revealing aromas of black cherry, raspberry and dried rose, complemented by notes of liquorice, sweet spices and subtle mineral nuances.

Palate & Finish:
The palate is full-bodied, powerful and beautifully balanced, supported by fine, silky tannins and great precision. The texture is dense yet elegant, delivering impressive depth. The very long, persistent and harmonious finish highlights an exceptional aging potential, further enhanced by the magnum format.
