Terroir & parcels

This Chambolle-Musigny is sourced from five parcels located on the upper slopes of the appellation, close to the limestone cliffs. These include Les Danguerrins, Les Creux Baissants, Les Fouchères and Derrière le Four, totaling approximately 1.85 hectares.

The vines, averaging around 40 years old, are planted on very stony, limestone-rich soils, often with a north-facing exposure. This high-altitude, calcareous terroir gives the wine its signature tension, floral aromatics and elegant structure, perfectly aligned with the identity of Chambolle-Musigny.

The 2019 vintage, warm yet beautifully handled by Arnoux-Lachaux, results in a wine that is both generous and luminous. The élevage enhances purity of fruit and an infused texture, while preserving freshness and mineral precision.

Tasting notes

Nose:
