Founded in 1979 by Randy Dunn, Dunn Vineyards has become a benchmark in Napa Valley, particularly for the rugged terroir of Howell Mountain. Sitting at over 500 m of elevation on volcanic soils, the estate is renowned for producing Cabernet Sauvignon of stunning power, tightly structured in youth yet blessed with extraordinary aging potential. Today, Randy is joined by his son Mike Dunn, who maintains the original vision: integrity, terroir, and purity.

Winemaking & Aging
- Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts.
- Extended aging up to 32 months in mostly neutral French oak barrels.
- No winemaking artifices: no excessive oak, no over-extraction. The goal is to express mineral depth, tension, and site character.
