Domaine de la Pousse d’Or – Burgundian heritage and absolute refinement

Volnay • Côte de Beaune • Burgundy • France — Family estate (18 ha)

A Volnay legend with international prestige

Nestled in Volnay, Domaine de la Pousse d’Or is an iconic Burgundy estate mentioned as early as the 15th century. Acquired in 1997 by Patrick Landanger and later joined by his son Benoît, the estate has undergone a qualitative renaissance, combining historic legacy with meticulous precision in both vineyard and cellar.

Prestigious terroirs across Côte de Beaune and beyond

The estate covers 18 hectares, including an exceptional collection of premier and grand cru sites, with several historic monopoles. Certified organic since 2014, it focuses on soil health, biodiversity and terroir expression.

Precise vinification & measured ageing

  • Manual harvesting with meticulous sorting.
  • Gentle fermentations using indigenous yeasts.
  • 15 to 18 months ageing in Burgundian barrels, with 30–50% new oak depending on the cru.
  • Goal: preserve purity, texture and complexity of each climat.

Signature style

  • Pure fruit, finely etched structure, silky tannins.
  • Remarkable energy and precision on the palate.
  • Delicate lacework in Volnay, refined power in Corton, noble tension in Chambolle.
