Gradually built by Michel Gros from 1975 onwards, the domaine is now carried forward by the new generation, with Pierre Gros, representing the seventh family generation. Across around 23 hectares, it produces balanced, refined and consistent wines, including the famous Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Clos des Réas, a historic family monopole since 1860.

The domaine works around 23 hectares of vines, mainly located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Its parcels cover several recognised appellations, including Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Morey-Saint-Denis and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits.

The jewel of the domaine remains Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Clos des Réas, a monopole acquired by the family in 1860. This climat produces an emblematic wine, at once structured, refined and deeply marked by the sensual character of Vosne-Romanée.

This diversity of terroirs allows the domaine to offer a nuanced reading of the Côte de Nuits: aromatic finesse, delicate texture, Pinot Noir depth and a balance between accessibility and ageing potential.

Viticulture and vinification: discreet rigour and balance
