Terroirs & Vineyard

The vineyard rests on a geological mosaic emblematic of the Jura:

• Arbois: deep clay, grey marl, cool soils fostering tension and density.
• L’Étoile: white marl rich in fossils, yielding luminous, saline, precise wines.
• Côtes du Jura: alternating clay, limestone, and layered marl, offering stylistic diversity.

Ouillé Whites

A modern, precise expression of Jura whites: gentle pressing, slow fermentations, and élevage in tank or barrel depending on the parcel. Chardonnays display structured breadth, while ouillé Savagnins reveal mineral tension and fine salinity.

Oxidative Wines & Vin Jaune

The domaine excels in oxidative winemaking — non-topped-up barrels, natural veil formation, slow oxidation — resulting in aromas of walnut, warm spices, curry, and candied citrus. The Château-Chalon, selected from the finest parcels, is one of the Jura’s great classics.
