Barbaresco Asili Vecchie Viti 2014 - Roagna

This wine comes from a small parcel within the famed Asili cru, planted with old vines over 50 years old, some of them pre-phylloxera. It is only produced in top vintages, in extremely limited quantities, and represents the purest expression of Roagna’s philosophy.

Bright garnet color. The nose is hauntingly complex: dried rose petals, sour cherry, orange peel, white truffle, tar, and sweet tobacco. On the palate, it is structured and ethereal, with fine, tightly-knit tannins and a long, mineral finish. Exceptional poise and depth.
