Wide selection of anniversary vintages from 1924 to the present day
Made only in exceptional vintages, this 1989 Sélection de Grains Nobles is one of the rare sweet wines from Maison Trimbach, one of Alsace’s most esteemed producers since 1626. The vintage was outstanding, allowing for perfect botrytis development and extraordinary concentration.
Grapes were hand-picked in successive passes, only from the ripest, botrytised clusters.
Nose: Opulent and complex: dried apricot, fig, orange peel, saffron, beeswax and hints of black tea.
Palate: Lusciously sweet, full-bodied and layered, yet balanced by a refined acidity. The finish is long, saline and beautifully persistent.
