"The 2019 Kreuz Spätburgunder GG opens with an intense and refined Pinot aroma based on red berries and calcareous soils. The delicate (dried strawberry) fruit is intertwined with finely spicy and herbal aromas. Silky and very elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and quite powerful Pinot with persistent salinity and tension. Impressive and possibly one of the finest Kreuz I have had from this producer. "
