From the Engelhard Vineyard, this 2016 “The Grain” offersa volcanic-driven, powerful expression of Cabernet.
Nose: Rich black fruits—blackberry, plum, cassis—blended with olive, black walnut, dried herb (bay leaf), grilled meat, and wood spice.
Palate: Dense and structured, carrying through black fruit. Chewy, dusty tannins, chocolate, and minerality create a long, layered finish with saline and spice notes.
