J. Daniel Cuvée 2016 — Lail Vineyards
This J. Daniel Cuvée 2016 from Lail Vineyards embodies one of the most elegant, profound and prestigious expressions of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. An emblematic cuvée of the estate, it pays tribute to John Daniel Jr., a major figure in California wine history, and combines Napa’s solar richness with a pursuit of precision, texture and aromatic nobility: cassis, blackberry, blueberry, black plum, black cherry, cedar, graphite, cocoa, blond tobacco, liquorice, sweet spices, violet, noble earth and a long mineral finish.
Lail Vineyards is among the most respected estates in Napa Valley, renowned for wines of great concentration, refinement and ageing capacity. J. Daniel Cuvée represents the top of the range, with a style that combines fruit intensity, Cabernet Sauvignon structure, precise ageing and balance. The 2016 vintage, outstanding in Napa Valley, brings depth, ripeness, preserved freshness and a tannic architecture built for long evolution.
A great Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, dense, velvety and refined, where the natural power of the 2016 vintage remains carried by precise freshness and noble structure. The wine combines ripe black fruits, cassis, blackberry, cedar, graphite, cocoa, tobacco, liquorice, spices and violet, with a broad, silky, structured and highly persistent palate. It is a cuvée of prestige, depth and ageing potential.
Terroir: Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon and Californian depth
