"The 2018 Bienenberg Wildenstein Spätburgunder GG is pure, fresh and deep on the (very) ripe and very concentrated, also somewhat Porty (alcoholic) nose that delivers spicy black berry and cherry as well as some plummy aromas. Smooth yet fresh and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied and concentrated yet fascinatingly fresh Pinot with quite a rich and powerful yet tight and tensioned performance. For my personal taste, this is a bit too powerful and mighty, even though there is freshness and purity that will lead the wine to a long lifetime. "
