"Full to deep salmon-pink rose colour. Smoky, burnt toast, developed and not very fresh to sniff. A hint of burnt rubber, even. Dry, firm, slightly hard and forbidding: there's a touch of phenolic grip and the finish is quite firm. This helps balance the liqueur and leave a clean finish. A solid, slightly unsubtle rose style, but it has a lot of flavour and body. The bouquet opened up with time in the glass and showed more fruit."
