Pauillac – Médoc, Bordeaux

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande — the feminine elegance of a great Pauillac

A symbol of elegance and refinement, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande — “Pichon Comtesse” — holds a unique place among Bordeaux’s greatest wines. Classified as a Second Growth in 1855, it embodies Pauillac’s signature style: noble finesse, restrained power and timeless grace.

A historic estate at the heart of the Médoc

Founded in the 17th century, the estate owes much of its reputation to visionary women such as Virginie de Lalande and May-Eliane de Lencquesaing, who elevated the cru to the very top of Bordeaux’s hierarchy. Since 2007, Maison Louis Roederer has been the guardian of this Pauillac jewel, pursuing a vision of excellence, precision and sustainability.

Terroir & uniqueness

The 89-hectare vineyard lies on the deep gravel typical of Pauillac, with a rare feature: part of the vines are located in the neighboring commune of Saint-Julien, bringing an extra layer of finesse and suppleness to the final blend.
