Founded in the late 1980s by Jean Phillips, it entered wine history with its first vintage in 1992, rated 99/100 by Robert Parker, becoming the ultimate emblem of the California “cult wine.” Now owned by Stan Kroenke, the estate remains highly exclusive, closed to the public and accessible only to a small circle of collectors worldwide.
