History & Terroir

This historic domaine, long known as Domaine François Lamarche, has been run by Nicole Lamarche since 2018. The estate is located in the heart of Vosne-Romanée and farms around 11 hectares of vineyards. Its crown jewel is La Grande Rue, a monopole Grand Cru nestled between some of the greatest climats of Burgundy. The domaine is known for its sensitive approach to vineyard work and terroir expression.

Vineyard & Appellations

The vineyards are primarily located in Vosne-Romanée, with additional parcels in Nuits-Saint-Georges. The domaine holds an exceptional selection of climats, including La Grande Rue (Grand Cru monopole), as well as Échézeaux, Grands-Échézeaux and Clos de Vougeot. Its Premier Cru holdings highlight some of the most sought-after terroirs of the village.

Viticulture & Winemaking

• Manual vineyard work and hand harvesting.
• Soil management with natural treatments and no systemic herbicides.
• Rigorous sorting in the vineyard and cellar.
• Fermentation in stainless steel or concrete, gentle pump-overs.
• Ageing for 12–18 months in oak barrels (15–30% new), respecting fruit and terroir.
