Olivier Leflaive is the son of Joseph, nephew of Vincent and cousin of Anne-Claude. He was co-manager of Domaine Leflaive with his uncle Vincent from 1982-1990, and with Anne-Claude from 1990-1994, by which time the négociant business, which he had started in 1985 in order to have some wines to play with outside Puligny-Montrachet, had really blossomed.

Production is now around 70,000 cases across 65 different appellations, 85 per cent in white wine. Included in the production are his own vineyards which cover 15 hectares in Puligny, Chassagne and Meursault.

  • Domaine Ostertag

The Domaine Ostertag is a mythical estate in Alsace has found a second wind with the arrival of Andre Ostertag's son (precursor of the Domaine's style), Arthur, in 2018 - his first vintage alone at the helm.
After a stint at the Domaine des Comtes Lafon in Meursault, he refined and intensified the approach instilled by his father.

  • domaine Overnoy

The Domaine Overnoy, located in Pupillin, south of Arbois, is one of the most renowned references in the Jura region. Founded in 1968 by Pierre Overnoy, this family estate has always prioritized natural viticulture. From the beginning, Pierre rejected synthetic chemicals and chose to work his vineyard in the most authentic way, in harmony with the terroir.

In 2001, the estate was passed on to Emmanuel Houillon, Pierre’s adoptive son, who now manages the estate with his wife Anne. Together, they cultivate 5.5 hectares of vines primarily planted with Chardonnay, Savagnin, and Poulsard, on the region's clay-limestone soils. The estate operates under organic and biodynamic principles, ensuring the purity and quality of the grapes.

The estate's wines are crafted using traditional and natural methods, without added sulfur, without filtration, and using indigenous yeasts. The wines are mainly aged in oak barrels, often under a veil, giving them complex aromas and exceptional depth.

    Signature wines of the estate:

    • Arbois Pupillin Poulsard: A light and elegant red wine with aromas of red fruits and flowers.
    • Arbois Savagnin: A dry white wine with notes of nuts and dried fruits, typical of the grape.
    • Arbois Vin Jaune: A white wine aged under a veil, with aromas of nuts, curry, and dried fruits, requiring six years and three months of aging in oak barrels.
    • Arbois Vin de Paille: A sweet wine made from passiti grapes, offering aromas of honey, candied fruits, and hazelnuts.

The Domaine Overnoy thus embodies the excellence of the Jura vineyard, producing wines of great originality, with some, like Vin Jaune or Vin de Paille, becoming essential staples of the region.

The History of Domaine Pattes Loup

Coming from a family of winemakers, Thomas Pico took over eight hectares of the family estate in 2004. Driven by a desire to preserve the environment and fully express the Chablis terroir, he immediately converted to organic farming, earning certification in 2009.

His approach is based on minimalist and demanding viticulture, banning pesticides and favoring natural methods to enhance the purity of Chardonnay.

    • Indigenous yeasts for spontaneous fermentations, highlighting the unique terroir.
    • Extended aging on fine lees (14 to 30 months) to develop aromatic complexity.
    • Diverse aging vessels: stainless steel tanks, used oak barrels, and concrete eggs.
    • No fining or filtration before bottling, ensuring pure and authentic wine expression.
