Most wanted wine estate by region:
Domaine Les Pallières is undeniably one of the greatest, longest-running properties of the Southern Rhône—outside the village of Gigondas, woven into the foothills of the beautiful and brooding Dentelles de Montmirail. The domaine had been a continuously running farm within the same family since the fifteenth century! Les Pallières was once a famous domaine with wines of impeccable character, yet the property had slowly fallen into disrepair.
Cuvée “Terrasse du Diable,” encompasses the low-yielding vines from the higher altitudes that express great structure and intense minerality. Cuvée “Les Racines” showcases the vineyard parcels surrounding the winery—the origin of the domaine with the oldest vines—with the emphasis on freshness and extravagant cornucopian fruit.
Les Vins de Vienne was the name given to the wines of the Seyssuel region in the Roman times, which were reportedly of some repute. It is also the name given to the négociant firm and a domaine recently set up by three leading winemakers from the Northern Rhône, Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard.
Louis Boillot has come to Chambolle, where his partner Ghislaine Barthod is based, from Gevrey-Chambertin, though as his range of wines indicates, he is descended from the Volnay family of Boillots.
He today farms around 7ha, covering nine different appellations, from regional Burgundy to Premier Cru.
Created in Beaune in 1844, Maison Louis-Violland is a part of the traditional ‘négociants éleveurs’ who contributed greatly to the rise of Burgundy wines.
Founded in 1970 by Marc Colin and his wife Michele, Domaine Marc Colin now spans 15 hectares encompassing 26 appellations in St. Aubin, Chassagne, Puligny, and Santenay.
The red wines are characterized by silky texture, ever-present fruit and a certain roundness with just a kiss of oak. Production consists of 70% white and 30% red with total production maxing out at 120,000 bottles.
The domaine is housed in a 19th century coaching inn, at the top of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet.
The domaine’s vineyards are spread across Chassagne, Puligny and St Aubin.
Yields have steadily decreased in recent years and the result has been richer, more concentrated wines that retain their perfume and delicacy.
The Marchand-Grillot estate cultivates 9 hectares of vines, made up of 47 different plots spread over 5 Cote de Nuits villages: Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Gilly-les-Cîteaux et Brochon, each one carefully tended. There are many different activities in the vineyard through the course of the year.

Domaine Martelet de Chérisey – Blagny, Côte de Beaune
Pure Chardonnay expression from the hills between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.
A family-run estate rooted in Blagny
Located in the hamlet of Blagny, Domaine Martelet de Chérisey is led by Hélène and Laurent Martelet. Since 1998, they’ve been honoring high-altitude terroirs with precision and care.
A unique high-altitude terroir
The vines, over 60 years old, grow on clay-limestone soils at 350 meters elevation. This cool microclimate ensures slow ripening and gives the wines freshness, tension, and length.
Thoughtful viticulture and precise winemaking
The vineyards are worked manually with sustainable practices. Vinification is done per parcel, fermentation occurs in oak barrels, and aging is carried out on fine lees, with minimal intervention.
Wine style
The whites are bright, floral, saline, with citrus, peach, and great length. The red from Blagny is precise and vibrant, expressing finesse and purity.
Signature cuvées
Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Hameau de Blagny": precise, mineral, and fresh.
Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru "La Genelotte": rich, tense, layered.

Founded in 1986 by Josép Lluís Pérez, it is one of the pioneers of the modern renaissance of this prestigious appellation. The estate covers around 14 hectares of vines, grown on steep terraced slopes with soils mainly composed of llicorella, a schistous rock that imparts a characteristic minerality to the wines.
The estate cultivates a variety of grape varieties, including Garnacha (Grenache), Cariñena (Carignan), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, all vinified with great precision. The winery adopts a sustainable viticulture approach, minimizing the use of chemicals and external interventions.
