  • domaine Michel Gros

    Michel, the eldest of Jean Gros’ children, took over running the family domaine fresh from wine school in 1975, on account of his father’s ill health.

    Today, he is the owner and grower of Clos des Réas (Monopole) and Clos de Vougeot, which he inherited from his father, and additionally purchased properties in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-St-Georges Les Chaliots, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis.

    Michel Niellon operates out of two small cellars in Chassagne, producing quite simply sublime wines.

    He has only 6 hectares of vines, which include small holdings in Chevalier and Bâtard-Montrachet.

    Moreau-Naudet is a 17th century family estate which in the hands of Stéphane Moreau and his wife Virginie, transmits their passion and respect for the vineyards.

    Through organic and biodynamic work they quickly became one of the most exciting young producers in Chablis with long-aged but easy-to-drink wines.

    A work that was interrupted by the unfortunate death of Stéphane in 2016 and that, after a period of uncertainty, leads Virginia to commit to continue the project that she started with her husband with the same style.

  • Domaine Naudin Ferrand

    The history of Naudin Ferrand dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when Claire Deroye convinced her husband Henri Naudin to purchase some vines in Burgundy. This passion passed from generation to generation, and in 1994 it was Claire Naudin took up the family estate. Today, the domain spans 22 hectares and respects responsible agriculture. This family domain has vineyards covering the Hautes Côtes, in the regional appellations of Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Haute-Côtes de Nuits. Chardonnay is grown here for the white wines, and Pinot Noir for the reds. Gamay and Aligoté are also cultivated by the domain. According to Claire Naudin, viticulture is something you should live without fear of experimenting, for example with biodynamics. This approach has allowed her to create elegant and pure cuvées with much freshness and depth. They offer a lovely illustration of Burgundy's terroirs.

    Since 1994 Robert has vinified separately the Viogner grapes from his holdings in the Coteau de Chery and La Roncharde vineyards (the latter goes into Condrieu Les Ravines).

    The average vine age in the Coteau de Chery is high (30-50 years old) and the wines are powerful, well-structured and often exotically rich.
