Emidio Pepe is a living legend of Italian winemaking, renowned for his artisanal approach and commitment to biodynamics. Located in the Abruzzo region, his family estate, founded in 1964, stands as a model of excellence in producing natural and biodynamic wines. Emidio Pepe, a pioneer of traditional winemaking, is celebrated for his wines of exceptional complexity, combining authenticity with terroir.
Domaine Emidio Pepe produces wines crafted using artisanal methods, in perfect harmony with nature. Emidio Pepe has chosen to prioritize indigenous yeasts for fermentation, without the addition of chemicals or artificial additives. The grapes are traditionally crushed by foot in wooden vats, respecting ancient winemaking techniques. This adherence to tradition ensures superior quality and unmatched purity of flavor.
Emidio Pepe is recognized as a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Italy. The estate received Demeter certification in 2006, a testament to its commitment to environmentally respectful practices. By adopting a biodynamic approach, the estate views its vineyard as a balanced ecosystem, in harmony with lunar and natural cycles. This approach ensures the production of natural and authentic wines.
The family estate spans 15 hectares of vineyards, primarily planted with Trebbiano and Montepulciano, as well as Pecorino, a local grape variety. The harvest is done manually to ensure the quality of the grapes. Emidio Pepe's wines are aged in the cellar without filtration, allowing the full expression of the Abruzzese terroir to shine through.
Emidio Pepe's wines stand out for their exceptional aging potential and complexity. Each cuvée perfectly reflects the region's terroir, offering rich aromas and a structure that develops beautifully over the years. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo wines are particularly sought after by connoisseurs and are regularly awarded for their unique quality.
Emidio Pepe’s wines are among the most sought after worldwide. Their exceptional quality and biodynamic approach attract a loyal clientele, ranging from natural wine enthusiasts to collectors. Each bottle is an invitation to discover the authenticity and history of the Abruzzo terroir.
Today, Emidio's daughters, Sofia and Daniela, along with his granddaughter Chiara, continue the family legacy. They ensure the preservation of traditions while adapting the estate to modern challenges. Thanks to their hard work, the estate continues to produce exceptional wines that perpetuate the name of Domaine Emidio Pepe among the world’s greatest producers of biodynamic wines.

Eredi Fuligni – Montalcino, Tuscany
Exceptional Brunello, blending noble tradition with contemporary precision.
A historic estate in the heart of Montalcino
Founded in 1923 by the Venetian-origin Fuligni family, the estate covers 100 hectares on the eastern slopes of Montalcino. Now led by Maria Flora Fuligni and winemaker Paolo Vagaggini, the domaine continues its legacy of artisanal excellence.
An exceptional terroir
The 14 hectares of vineyards are located between 380 and 450 meters above sea level, on marl and galestro soils. The northeast exposure ensures slow ripening of the Sangiovese grapes, giving the wines depth, precision, and freshness.
Winemaking and aging
Fermentation is traditional, followed by 2.5 to 3 years of aging in large oak casks, then further bottle aging. The style stays true to Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, with an emphasis on finesse and balance.
