Most wanted wine estate by region:
The winery’s roots go back to 1809 when Auguste Moreau built a cellar across from the Champs Gain vineyard and farmed his few hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot along the golden slope.
The majority of the domaine’s 14 hectares (out of which 9 are owned and five are farmed) were assembled by Marcel Moreau in the 1930s.
The Domaine’s most famous own vineyard is its 0.35 hectares of Chassagne-Montrachet 1er cru Les Grandes Rouchotes, but the entire range represent Chassagne-Montrachet at its finest.

Amélie belongs to the group of young generation talented wine makers taking over more and more domaines in Burgundy over the last decade.
Jean-Claude and Romain Bessin-Tremblay have been lauded by the Wine Advocate’s William Kelley as an estate “that belongs among Chablis's top half-dozen domaines.”

Domaine Bizot, located in Vosne-Romanée, is one of the rarest jewels of the Côte de Nuits. With only 3.5 hectares of vines, this family estate embodies excellence and authenticity in Burgundy wines. Founded by the Bizot family and taken over by Jean-Yves Bizot in 1995, the estate has evolved while remaining true to artisanal methods and a deep respect for its terroir.
In 2007, Jean-Yves expanded his vineyard with parcels in Marsannay and the highly sought-after Bourgogne "Le Chapitre." This expansion enriched an already iconic range, including prestigious appellations like Vosne-Romanée and Échézeaux Grand Cru.
A Unique Philosophy for Exceptional Wines
Domaine Bizot applies non-interventionist winemaking techniques, fermenting whole clusters and aging the wines in new oak barrels. No filtration or fining is used, ensuring wines of unparalleled purity and finesse. This meticulous work is reflected in each cuvée, offering wines with complex aromas and silky structure.
Rare and Sought-After Bottles
With an annual production limited to fewer than 10,000 bottles, and sometimes much less depending on the vintage, every bottle of Domaine Bizot is a collector’s treasure. These wines, coveted by connoisseurs and collectors worldwide, represent the pinnacle of Burgundy elegance.

Domaine Blain-Gagnard was formed in 1980 when Jean-Marc Blain (a Sancerrois) married Claudine Gagnard, youngest daughter of Jacques and Marie-Josèphe Gagnard of Domaine Gagnard-Delagrange.
They now control 20.5 acres of vines in Chassagne-Montrachet, including holdings in three grands crus: Le Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet.
Today the domaine covers 11.09 hectares, all in one continuous holding located on the Pernand side of the great Corton hill, of which 9.50 hectares are Corton-Charlemagne and the remainder Corton.
Yields are severely restricted and in the cuverie as many as 16 different parcels of grapes are vinified separately in order for their respective "terroirs" to be reflected in the wine.
Since 1860 the Boiron family has made wine at the property. Through 5 generations the domain has been handed over from father to son.
The domain covers about 40 different parcels - a total of 32 ha.
Bouchard’s total holdings comprise 130 hectares, including 12ha of grand crus and 74ha of premier crus, which makes them the largest vineyard owners in the Côte d’Or.
In 1995 the Champagne house, Joseph Henriot, acquired the company and quality has risen as a consequence.
Bruno Clair runs one of the largest domaines in Burgundy as it covers 23 hectares and includes vineyards that extend from Marsannay to Savigny.
The reds are full and rich and well balanced. The range never disappoints and Bruno is a meticulous winemaker who seeks purity and balance. Definitely one of Burgundy's top producers.
