Jean-Marc Vincent is a master of 1er cru Santenay, but this tête de cuvée does not officially have 1er cru status or bear a lieu-dit.

"Vincent's special selection of old-vine fruit, the 2017 Santenay Rouge Gravité has turned out very nicely, opening in the glass with a deep and reserved bouquet of sweet soil tones, plums, cassis and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's deep and complete, with chalky structure and tangy acids. At least five years patience will be richly rewarded."

The Domaine Jean-Marc Vincent is a family-owned estate, inherited from Jean-Marc Vincent's grandfather, André Bardollet-Bravard, and located primarily in and around the village of Santenay in the southern Côte de Beaune. Since 1997, Jean-Marc and his wife Anne-Marie have run the domaine, which spans 5 hectares and produces an average of 25,000 bottles per year.

Although not officially certified organic, the estate practices viticulture that closely follows organic principles, focusing on sustainability and respect for the environment. Jean-Marc has refined his winemaking approach over the years, creating wines that are the epitome of elegance and harmony.

The domaine is particularly renowned for its Santenay premiers crus, which showcase the pure expression of the terroir. Wines like the Santenay Blanc "Les Vignes Denses" are noted for their concentration and elegance, often surpassing expectations for their appellation.
