The Saint-Joseph 2015 from Domaine Jean-Louis Chave is a red wine from the Northern Rhône Valley, crafted entirely from Syrah grapes. This vintage is celebrated for its balance between power and finesse, featuring aromas of ripe red and black fruits, violet, and subtle smoky and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fleshy and full-bodied, supported by smooth, structured tannins, leading to a spicy and persistent finish.

Since 1481 , the Chave family reigns over the vineyards of the Hermitage. The Jean-Louis Chave area covers 15 hectares in which Hermitage third white ( 20% Roussanne and Marsanne 80% ) .

The red comes from the hermitage best " neighborhoods " of Beaume , the Ermite , and reflects the strength of Bessards.

In the finest vintages, Chave produces tiny amounts of a superexpensive luxury cuvée Cathelin.
