Tasting notes

This is quite restrained. There is excellent energy and a lovely sense of underlying tension to the delicious and highly complex flavors that possess outstanding length on the mineral-inflected finish. This is almost a hypothetical combination of the Charmes and the Boucheres because it has almost as much richness and generosity of the former yet almost the same degree of finesse as the latter.

The Morey Blanc business is the marketing and micro-negoce arm, so named by the surnames of Pierre Morey and his wife Christiane Blanc.

The style and quality of the wines are a synthesis of the nervous complexity and funk of classic old-school white Burgundy. They are complex and taut with underlying richness which have the capacity to age very gracefully indeed.
