Mersault 1er cru "Charmes" 2016 - Michel Bouzereau

Tasting notes

“This is very Meursault in character with its ripe orchard fruit, acacia, hazelnut and whiff of brown butter-suffused aromas. The delicious and vibrant medium weight flavors once again possess good cut and lovely intensity before terminating in a palate coating and exceptionally rich finish. While this should amply reward 6 to 9 years of cellaring, it should also be approachable after only 2 to 3 years.” – Alan Meadows

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

The Bouzereau family has been growing vines in Meursault for seven generations. Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau today cultivates this 10-hectare vineyard including some very beautiful terroirs. Its wines are of a precise style, elegant and digestible and whilst the wine grower is discreet, his wines are well loved.
