"The 2013 Meursault les Vireuils has a very succinct bouquet: cold granite, limestone, later a hint of freshly microwaved popcorn lending a hint of sweetness. The palate is taut and linear on the entry, setting the tone for a strict Meursault that only fans out right at the finish. It is beautifully balanced, much more primal and less generous than the Meursault, suggesting that it will need two or three years in bottle. Excellent - a Meursault that is cerebral as much as pleasurable."
