"There is a touch of wood framing the ripe and intensely earthy and sauvage nose of plum and violets. The impressively scaled and concentrated flavors ooze mouth coating dry extract that here too serves to impart a sappy texture to the highly complex, balanced and very firm finish that delivers knock-out length where about the only nit is a barely perceptible hint of backend warmth. As with all of the '12 Confuron grands crus, plenty of patience will be required. *Don't Miss*"

The Confuron-Cotétidot name began in 1964 with the union of legendary winemaker Jean-Jacques "Jacky" Confuron to Bernadette Cotétidot.

Today, Yves Confuron holds the reins at the estate with the help of his oenologist brother Jack in the cellar.

This is one of the most serious and consistent domaines in the Côte d’Or and even the village wines are superb!
