"The 2019 Riesling is cooler and fresher on the nose than the 2018 and shows more yeasty as well as intense tropical stone-fruit aromas intertwined with delicate flinty tones and sur lie notes. Round, mouth-filling and intense on the palate, this is a full-bodied, elegant, mild and more textural dry Riesling compared to 2018 or 2020, and it reveals a more phenolic structure on the finish. It's still too young to fully shine today, but the wine unfolds and refines enormously when aerated. (...)"

The Gantenbein Winery where Martha and Daniel Gantenbein have been producing wine since 1982. 

An area of 12.5 acres – and thus the largest part – is dedicated to Pinot Noir. Chardonnay is grown on 2.5 acres while Riesling covers an area of 0.5 acres.
