Weingut Donatsch, located in the Grisons region of Switzerland, is a winery led by Thomas Donatsch, a 4th-generation winemaker. Renowned for its innovative approach, the estate is particularly famous for its Chardonnay Selvenen, a rare wine that resulted from an accidental planting in the 1970s when Thomas mistakenly planted Chardonnay thinking it was Pinot Blanc. This wine is especially praised for its minerality, freshness, and complexity, offering excellent aging potential.
