  • Weingut schwarz

The story begins with Hans Schwarz.

As a hobby winemaker in 1992, Hans produced his first wine from 100% Zweigelt grapes, and called it “Giovanni”.

From 1994, he brought his wines to Alois Kracher, who had encouraged him to produce his own wine as his grapes were prime quality.

He finally began to make his own wines in 1999, with the friendly support of Alois Kracher and Manfred Krankl, and established Weingut Schwarz.

  • Weingut Tement

"I am possibly repeating myself in saying that Armin Tement (supported by brother Stefan and his wife Monika as well as his parents Manfred and Heidi) has made Weingut Tement Austria’s number one wine producer. Although it has been one of the country’s finest wine addresses already during the 1990s and 2000s by Armin’s father Manfred, the son has pushed the limits even farther. In terms of size, sophisticated winemaking and the immense range of high-quality wines, I don’t see anybody else producing wine on this level in Austria...”

    —Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate

  • Weingut Van Volxem

Vineyards were originally planted by the Romans in the third century. In the 11th century, monks rediscovered the vineyards before they became part of a monastery winery under the Jesuit order in the 17th century. Latterly, the winery was run by the estates namesake, the Van Volxem family, before Roman Niewodniczanski took over the winery in 2000.

The wines of the Saar are given their character by the mineral-rich, fertile slate soils and the prevailing cool climate. Harvesting happens by hand, with conscientious selection guaranteeing consistently high quality. Largely rootless vines have been perched on the great sites for many decade

  • Weingut von Oetinger

Winegrowing has been in the von Oetinger family since 1828, but it was not until 1966 that Robert von Oetinger laid the foundation for what would later be called Weingut von Oetinger. Son Achim has been running this third-generation family winery since 2005.

  • WEINGUT VON WINNING

Weingut Von Winning is a famous Palatinate winery with a long tradition - it was founded in 1849.

The turning point came in 2007 when the winery got new owners and began to manage its 40 hectares of vineyards biodynamically. In the cellar, they returned to traditional methods of fermentation and maturation in larger oak barrels with a minimum of additives and other interventions. The grapes come from the most famous Palatinate vineyards near Forst and Deidesheim - the Kirchenstück, Ungeheuer, Pechstein, Kalkofen and many more. These are definitely among the most interesting wines Germany has to offer. Vineyards are set on a colorful cocktail of subsoils - there is red and yellow sandstone, limestone from the former coral reefs, and also pieces of basalt brought in the 18th century from the Palatinate forest. Most of the vineyards are planted with Riesling and are oriented to the east and south-east. As a result, grapes in this warmest corner of Germany reach ripeness at the right moment. In addition to the "Von Winning'' line, the winery also makes an entry range of wines under the "Dr.Deinhard" brand.

  • Weingut Wegelin

In 2019, Rafael Hug took over from Peter Wegelin at the helm of this flagship estate in Malans, Graubünden. He continued the move initiated by Wegelin to develop plot-based wines. Deep understanding of the terroir enables the estate to draw out the essence of the Pinots Noir and Chardonnay that flourish in each of the Scadena, Frassa, Bothmarhalde and Weisstorkel plots.

  • Weingut Wittmann

The winery is located in the municipality of Westhofen (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. Viticulture has been known in the family since 1663. Philipp Wittmann and his wife Eva share the management of the estate with Philipp's parents, Günter and Elisabeth Wittmann. The vineyards cover 30 hectares of vines in the Westhofen sites of Aulerde, Brunnenhäuschen, Kirchspiel and Morstein. About half of the vineyards are planted with Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Quality criteria are low yields and selective hand harvesting in several passes. The vineyards have been cultivated according to ecological principles since 1990 and since 2004 consistently according to the guidelines of biodynamic viticulture.

  • Weingut Zum Sternen

Weingut zum Sternen is a single vineyard winery. We cultivate around 15 hectares of vines with great dedication in the best locations in the Lower Aare Valley, in the municipalities of Würenlingen, Döttingen and Klingnau, and press them in our modern winery.

  • Weingut zur alten Post (Georg Schlegel)

Located in Jenins in Swiss canton Graubünden, Weingut zur alten Post specialises in the vinification of top-class wines. Schlegel explains further: “Our growing area has enormous potential and offers the best growing conditions for a variety of grapes. While our assortment concentrates mainly on Burgundy varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gris and Blanc, we also produce Schiller, a top-class rosé wine, as well as distillates such as Marc or Bianco da Giorgio.”

  • Yamazaki

as Japan’s first malt whisky distillery,

  • Yann Durieux - recrue des sens

After working for more than 10 years at the Prieuré-Roch winery, Yann Durieux, a nice guy with an offbeat style and a charming smile, recovered his family’s vineyards (3 ha) and a struggling winery, Recrue des Sens, to set up his own project. This committed winemaker’s policy is simple but rare in the area: he is a natural wine fundamentalist. But make no mistake: behind his super cool appearance, Yann is a meticulous, determined, hard-working perfectionist, which makes him the future of Burgundy. Watch out, he is pure talent!
