  • Rockford Wines

Rockford Winery is one of the Barossa Valley’s cult wineries known as much for their rather rustic, or some would say romantic, approach to winemaking as for their wines, particularly their Basket Press shiraz.

  • Rotem & Mounir Saouma

Burgundy meets the Rhone.  An utter respect for tradition, and in some ways a total break.

We’ve watched as Mounir and Rotem Saouma, of Burgundy producer Lucien Le Moine, slowly developed their estate and wines in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and the results today are too extraordinary and distinct to ignore.

  • Rusden

The vineyard and winery is 100% family owned and the wines made on-site.

The Rusden brand is comprised of ten wines; each made using the same traditional methods, producing small batches of the highest quality wine, indicative of the Vine Vale terroir. All wines are made from the single vineyard that surrounds the winery.

  • Russell Greenock Farm

Situated on the edge the small town of Greenock in the western Barossa, Greenock Farm is one of the oldest properties in the region.

The Greenock Farm vineyard is owned by Russell Wines, a highly regarded family owned label within the region, best known for consistently producing small parcels of premium wine.

Russell Wines was awarded 5 stars and a spot in the Top 10 New Wineries Award for the 2009 James Halliday Wine Companion.

  • Salon

Salon makes only one wine: ‘Salon Cuvée S’,  a Blanc de Blancs, 100% Chardonnay.

Only 38 versions have been made since the first vintage in 1905, averaging under three per decade.

The average production, when it is made, is 60'000 bottles, though this can vary a good deal with the year.  Only 10 % of the production are bottled in magnum size.

  • Salvioni (La Cerbaiola)

When Giulio Salvioni commenced production in 1985 at his La Cerbaiola estate, he did so with Attilio Pagli at his side. Pagli’s career commenced at Soldera, where he mentored under esteemed consultant Giulio Gambelli.

Giulio Salvioni now owns 22ha land, uses only 4ha for the vineyards and he produces only 15,000 bottles without any compromise.

Salvioni distinguishes himself most prominently through what he doesn’t have, however—namely, a Riserva.

  • Samuel Billaud

In September 2014, Samuel Billaud becomes an oenologist and manages 4 hectares of vineyards scattered throughout the denominations of Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru Séchet, Mont de Milieu, Montée de Tonnerre, Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir, Les Clos.

”We should see him...at the top of Chablis producers alongside...Raveneau and Vincent Dauvissat.”

  • San Giusto a Rentennano

The estate which is situated in the Gaiole zone of the Chianti appellation comprises 160 hectares, 30.5 of which are planted to vines, and benefits from a microclimate marked by a dramatic fluctuation between day and night temperatures.

The estate also produces a Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and Vin Santo.

  • Sandhi Wines, Santa Rita Hills

Sandhi is a small production California winery focusing on select vineyards from the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. Sandhi was founded in 2010 by Rajat Parr, the wine director for Michael Mina Restaurants, and winemaker, Sashi Moorman.

Sandhi is dedicated to making wines of finesse, minerality, acidity, structure and balance. Wine achieves power and beauty through the seamless integration of these qualities, and this is the inspiration for us. We feel wines exhibiting extreme ripeness, alcohol, oak and other discordant exaggerations cannot truly express a specific vineyards’ terroir.

  • Sangenis i Vaqué

The Bodega Sangenís i Vaqué was founded in 1978 by Pere Sangenís and Conxita Vaqué in the wine region of Priorat.

The vineyards are located in Porrera, famous for its llicorella (schist and slate) terraces and vines, all of which are venerable, and divided between Garnacha and Cariñena.

  • Santi

The house of Santi was founded in 1843 by Attilio Carlo Santi, who started his production with the classics – Soave, Valpolicella, Recioto, Amarone and Bardolino obtained from the grapes he harvested in his own vineyards in the heart of the very best zones.
Over the years, Santi has gradually transformed.
It launched the “GIV quality system” that runs through the entire production process, from the vineyard to vinification techniques to the wine-making philosophy to bottling.
