Most wanted wine estate by region:
Domaine du Colombier is located in the village of Mercurol which is just slightly due east of Tain, and next to the hill of Hermitage. Domaine du Colombier owns 12 hectares of vines in the Northern Rhone Valley.
Their best terroir is the 1.6 hectares they own in Hermitage. In Hermitage, they have old vines as much of their plantings of Syrah are between 50 to 55 years of age that is planted on granite hillsides.
Domaine Comte Armand has been a defining name in Pommard for generations, celebrating a history dating back to 1826. However, in recent years, under the stewardship of régisseur Paul Zinetti, it has moved up the ranks, finding itself amongst the handful of top Pinot Noir producers in the Côte de Beaune. This reputation has been won through the team’s dedication to organic farming and Paul’s intuitive winemaking.
Gentle extraction, long maceration, well-judged minimal new oak, and extended élévages make for some of the finest reds in the region.
Their superb monopole, Clos des Epeneaux, is planted with old-vine Pinot Noir and is well-regarded for its sense of elegance and power.
Domaine du Compte Liger-Belair (also called Château de Vosne-Romanée) is recent, it was created in 2000 by Viscompte Louis-Michel Liger-Belair. But the family settled in Burgundy well before that date.
The Château de Vosne-Romanée was acquired by Louis Liger-Belair in 1815, with a domaine that was then 60 hectares (including the famous plots of La Tache, les Malconsorts and les Brulées!).
Domaine du Pegau owns 21 hectares of vines in Chateauneuf du Pape. 19.5 hectares are used for red wine grapes, 1.5 hectares for white wine grapes.
The best vines of Domaine du Pegau are located on the plateau of La Crau and the Cuvee da Capo is one of the most expensive and in demand wines in the entire Rhone appellation.
The Brunier family is legendary in its own right, having been rooted to the enigmatic plateau known as La Crau for over one hundred years. Indeed, for many, La Crau is Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s grandest cru.
The grapes from the younger vines—still over twenty years old—make up Vieux Télegraphe’s second label, “Télégramme.”
On our 22-hectare holding, where we produce wines of 21 different appellations, you will find something for every occasion, from family meals to casual dinners with friends. Béatrice and Raphaël DUBOIS would be delighted to welcome you to the estate and share their passion for wine-making. What better way to travel through Bourgogne than by tasting the different wines!
Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine has a superb heritage of vines in the Corton and Corton-Charlemagne appellation.
The Domaine consists of 5 hectares of vineyards and includes holdings in several Premiers Crus sites and 3 Grands Crus.
Their wines are concentrated, yet extremely stylish and well balanced. The wines are very approachable in youth but show at their best with 5-8 years of bottle ageing.
Domaine Guigal was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small ancient village that is the cradle of Côte-Rotie wines.
According to Parker, one of the finest white wine making estates in Burgundy. One of the best kept secrets here is their Puligny-Montrachet-La Truffieres, made from a microscopic 0.6 acre parcel of old vines.
