  • Domaine de TREVALLON - Eloi Dürrbach

René Durrbach purchased this estate and farmhouse in Saint-Etienne-du-Grès, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, for his family in 1955.

Eloi produced his first Trévallon wine from the 1976 harvest. He quickly gained notoriety among the top restaurateurs and sommeliers across France, who clamored for these intoxicatingly unique wines from this unique terroir.

  • Domaine de Villaine

The de Villaines farm three appellations within the Côte Chalonaise, namely Bouzeron (Aligoté), Rully (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) and Mercurey (Pinot Noir).

Their single-vineyard parcels are stunning examples of what this complex and amazing terroir can yield. Though their wines are quite enjoyable young, their ability to age well is what one might expect from a master such as de Villaine.

Much of this is due to both the diversity of his vinestock and his organic and biodynamic methodology in the vineyards, both of which Aubert stands by with great conviction. He also ferments his Mercureys and Rully rouge in wood tanks, a style adopted from DRC.

  • domaine des BOSQUETS

Domaine des Bosquets has deep historical roots in Gigondas. It was first mentioned as a vineyard site in 1376.

The average age of his vines is 50 years old, and the soils range (Julien has mapped 14 different terroirs) from sand to various gravels and types of clay – some with high levels of chalk. Average yields are 23 hl/ha for vines destined for the village Gigondas, while it drops down to as low as 15 hl/ha for some of the parcel wines.

  • Domaine des Chezeaux

The domaine was formed in 1982 from the holdings of the Mercier family who still run the company (SNV des Chézeaux).

Domaine des Chezeaux is the largest owner of Griotte-Chambertin.

All these vineyards are today leased to other vignerons – Domaine Ponsot has Le Chambertin, Clos St. Denis and 57% of Griotte Chambertin.
