Corton Charlemagne 1999 - Bruno Clair

Tasting notes

" Its nose reveals huge ripeness, with sweet apricot aromas intermingled with toasted oak. Medium to full-bodied, ample, and rich, it is packed with cookie dough, buttery white fruits, spices, and subtle hints of anise. This outstanding wine shows the austerity common in many wines from this vineyard in 1999, yet it regales the taster with its exquisite ripeness and depth. "
