"The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne Le Charlemagne Grand Cru (this was before the domaine shortened it to just "Le Charlemagne" as they are entitled to do) has a fabulous bouquet, quite backward at first although opening up with real flair, delivering sea spray and oyster shell aromas, a touch of struck flint. The palate is fresh and sharp with superb mineralité and tension. This is imbued with real frisson and the energy leaves the senses reeling on the finish. This is an outstanding Corton-Charlemagne that should give 20 years of drinking pleasure. (....)"
