Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru Les Gruenchers 2012 - domaine Dujac

Tasting notes

"It has a gorgeous bouquet with an intermingling of red and black fruit, minerals, hints of seaweed emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, almost obdurate tannins. This feels like a more masculine Chambolle, structured and perhaps even introspective towards the spice-tinged finish. (...)"

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Domaine Dujac in Burgundy was acquired by Jacques Seysses in 1967.
The core of what is today Domaine Dujac, was the Domaine Marcel Graillet in Morey St.Denis. It was not a large domaine, covering about 4.5 hectares, but it included vines in such prime locations as Clos de la Roche, Clos St.Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Combottes.
