Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze GC 2008 - Domaine Robert Groffier

Tasting notes

"A spicy, ripe, cool and layered nose of red and dark berry fruit displays an intensely animale side along with pungent Gevrey earth, both of which can also be found on the rich, serious and focused big-bodied flavors that, like the Bonnes Mares, are surprisingly supple but here there is a bit better overall depth and length. I particularly like the intensity and underlying sense of harmony."
