Château Giscours 1989

Tasting notes

"The 1989 Giscours is the first reassuringly fine wine made at this property since the 1983. It exhibits a black/ruby color, and a big, forceful bouquet of overripe plums and licorice. In the mouth, the wine has the tell-tale succulent character of the vintage, a chewy texture, excellent concentration, high alcohol, low acidity, and a long, opulent finish."
