Clos Fourtet 1981

Tasting notes

"The medium-weight 1981 Clos Fourtet St.-Emilion has above-average fruit intensity, but the wood flavors dominate the frail composition of the wine. A nice ripe cherry component indicates good ripeness of the grapes, but the wood tannins are entirely too pronounced. "
