Château Calon Ségur 1937 offered up a sweet fruitcake, Asian spice, gingery bouquet, with considerable evidence of sur-maturitie (over-ripeness). Sweet and rich on the palate, as well as remarkably intact, yet showing some acidity and rough tannin, this wine has aged fabulously well.
