Cornalin 2011 - Denis Mercier (magnum, 1.5 l)

Tasting notes

The 2011 Cornalin by Denis Mercier has a deep, almost black red color, hinting at an intense nose of dark fruits like blackberry and blueberry, complemented by spicy notes of pepper and clove, along with woody hints of cedar and mocha. On the palate, the attack is powerful with firm tannins and lively acidity, offering a medium to full-bodied structure. The concentrated fruit is supported by marked minerality, and the finish is long, spicy, and woody. A complex, structured, and elegant wine, perfect for pairing with red meats or aged cheeses.
