Tasting notes

"The 2019 Grain Pinot Champ Dury offers a deep, intense and spicy bouquet of fully ripe and well-concentrated dark cherries and berries intertwined with toasty as well as ethereal aromas of herbs and limestones. Silky, clear and finessed on the palate, this is a medium to full-bodied yet delicate, well-balanced and charming yet minerally fresh Pinot with intense, perfectly ripe fruit and an aromatic, well-structured finish that reveals delicate tannins and, despite its relative richness, great finesse. This is not the most complex and powerful Pinot from MTC, but it's a fine and true vin de terroir (du nord) with a persistent mineral finish. It's adorable and gets more complex and thrilling with aeration and surely also with bottle age. "
