The Petite Arvine Grain de Folie 2008 from Benoît Dorsaz is a complex and elegant wine. It displays a golden hue and aromas of ripe citrus fruits, grapefruit, and a hint of honey. On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity, smooth texture, and a marked minerality that defines its character. The wine is fresh yet powerful, with a long finish of citrus and subtle floral notes. A great example of the Swiss Petite Arvine, it shows excellent balance between fruit, acidity, and salinity. It pairs well with seafood, goat cheese, or white fish. The 2008 vintage has aged beautifully, showcasing its terroir.
