"The 2008 Il Caberlot is one of the more approachable vintages of this wine I have ever tasted. Dark red fruit, grilled herbs, espresso and spices are supported by finessed, silky tannins. The 2008 shows excellent length and persistence in an understated style for this Tuscan thoroughbred. It will be interesting to see how the 2008 develops over the coming years. "
