The 2009 Balin IGT Svizzera Italiana is a blend of Merlot, the extremely rare allogenic Arinarnoa red wine grape and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French barriques for 18 months, the wine offers a generously elegant and balanced bouquet of ripe cherries, black berries and cassis.

The merger of Kopp von der Crone (established in 1994 by Ueli Kopp and Anna Barbara von der Crone) and ViniVisini (founded in 1997 by Paolo Visini) brought together the expertise of two pioneers in the Ticino wine industry. Together, they formed Cantina Kopp von der Crone Visini, combining craftsmanship and passion to produce exceptional wines perfectly suited to the unique terroir of Ticino.

Cantina Kopp von der Crone Visini cultivates its vineyards on more than seven hectares spread across three exceptional terroirs in Ticino: Mendrisiotto, Lugano, and Bellinzone.
