"(...) the 2019 Oberflachs Auf der Mauer is incredibly fine and feminine on the ripe and sweet yet pure and spicy, finessed and chalky, in any case intense and dangerously alluring nose that shows red rather than dark berry aromas (mainly wild strawberries). Silky, refined and sweet on the elegant and seamless first palate, this is a tight, fresh and crisp, straightforward Pinot with great finesse and remarkably fine and silky tannins that are perfectly interwoven with the ripe and finely concentrated fruit. This is an adorable, really adorable Pinot Noir with intensity and medium complexity! (...)"
