"The 2018 Pinot Noir La Gavotte is a selection from a single parcel and opens with a deep, pure, fresh, intense yet elegant, spicy and terroir-driven bouquet of dark and red berries, cherries and toasty notes. This refined beauty reveals an elegant and coolish, silky, finessed and refreshing mineral and chalky character and a palate that is dense and intense but also precise, pure and elegant. The tannins are ripe and silky yet still crunchy enough to give grip and tension. This is an excellent Pinot Noir! "
