"(...) the 2018 Talbot is just a little reduced to begin, opening out to reveal notions of warm red and black currants, baked plums and mulberries with touches of sautéed herbs, tilled soil, fallen leaves and unsmoked cigars. Medium to full-bodied, it has commendably ripe, fine-grained tannins and restrained, earthy layers on offer in the mouth  (...)"

Château Talbot is one of the oldest of the Crus Classés in Médoc and its label is an elegant reminder of this fact.

The wines from Talbot have been raised to the level of the great growths of Médoc. Their sève, or aromatic savor, has an indescribable richness, their bouquet a rare elegance and their robe bears a lively, lilting color.

"Caillou blanc", a white wine, dry and elegant has been created on Talbot land.

Plantation density : 7'500 vines/ha

Age of the vines : 35 years;

Second wine : Connétable de Talbot;

Best vintages : 2010, 2009, 2000, 1986, 1982, 1945;
