"The deep ruby-colored 1990 offers up abundant aromas of sweet new oak, ripe berry fruit, and floral scents. In the mouth, this stylish, medium-weight, beautifully proportioned wine has excellent concentration, decent acidity, moderate tannins, and a considerable sense of elegance and richness. It is the finest La Gaffeliere since the 1970 and 1947."

Château la Gaffelière lies in the middle of its 25 hectares, all in one piece, of which 22 hectares are planted in vines.

The wines from Château la Gaffelière are a deep, luminous ruby colour displaying a rich bouquet of complex aromas dominated by cassis and truffle.

Maturity : 10 to 15 years, but in great vintage a lifetime!
